Supply Chain
The supply chain function within Aero Engine Controls is an integral part of the business, encompassing a combination
of strategic sourcing and supply chain management objectives. The department is split into five main commodity sections;
Metals, Engineered Products, Electronics, Hardware and Indirect and each commodity team strives to deliver a competitive
advantage to the business.
Since the formation of Aero Engine Controls, the department is continuously implementing new supply chain strategies
in order to find and develop existing world class sources for finished components. The aim is to work closely with
engineering and suppliers to improve relationships, as well as support lean manufacturing and improvement projects.
